Douglas Genna joined the faculty of Youngstown State University in 2014. He has a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Haverford College, and M.A. in Chemistry from John Hopkins University. He completed his post doctoral training in Chemistry at John Hopkins University. Douglas was awarded Research Professor at YSU in 2018 and Distinguished Professor of Scholarship in 2017. He believes his students' success is his greatest achievement and has a passion for engaging older adults into the world of Chemistry.
